Glazed Steak Ribs


  • 2 Full Tablespoons of Essiespice TamarindOH! sauce
  • 1 1/2 lbs of Beef ribs. This will provide about 4 to 5 individual pieces
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt 1 medium Onion, diced
  • 1 Tablespoon ground fresh ginger or dry ginger powder but fresh is preferred
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1/4 Water

Steaming of the Beef Ribs

  1. Clean and slice the beef ribs about 1/2 an inch each from the bone
  2. In a deep casserole pot, pour the olive oil into it and allow to heat for up for a minute
  3. Add the diced onions, salt and ginger
  4. Coat the ribs with the mixture evenly and allow to simmer with 1/4 cup of water for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally every 5 minutes
  5. Take off the pot and allow to cool

Preparation of Dish

  1. Warm your oven at 300 Fahrenheit for 10 minutes
  2. In a large bowl marinade your beef ribs with 2 tablespoons of TamarindOH!
  3. Put them on a well oiled aluminum roasting or baking tray, and place it in the oven
  4. Increase the heat to 380 Fahrenheit and allow to roast for 15 minutes
  5. Check on it again and add the remaining TamarindOH! glaze and this time, turn the oven up to 400 Fahrenheit
