INGREDIENTS
- 1 Pound skirt steak or rib eye steak, sliced thinly
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon EssieSpice Mango Chili Medley
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1/2 stick of butter
- 1 large onion. Sliced thinly in rounds
- 1 teaspoon coriander - ground
- 2 tablespoons of light soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons of oil
Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, put the steak and add peanut butter, salt and pepper, coriander, soy sauce, oil and EssieSpice Mango Chili Medley
- Mix all together and allow this to marinate for at least 20-30 minutes
- In another saucepan, add butter and some oil
- Once heated add sliced red onions and sautée for about 15 minutes, stirring continuously so the onions and soft and translucent
- Remove and set aside. Now pan sear the marinated steak with a bit of oil for about a minute on each side so not to overcook steak
- Serve with rice
