Ingredients
- 2 pieces Moon fish (You can use similar steak-like fish; tuna or cod) 1/2 lb each
- 2 Tablespoons EssieSpice TamarindOH! Sauce
- Salt to taste
- 4-6 sticks of Asparagus
- 2 Teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 Teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon of black pepper - ground
- 1/2 Stick of Tablespoons of butter
- 1 Tablespoon of toasted Sesame seeds
Preparation
- In a bowl, season the fish steaks with Salt, black pepper and 1 teaspoon of the garlic powder
- In a wide frying pan, add some 1/4 of the butter and allow to heat up.
- Pan sear the fish on all sides for just under 1 minute
- Transfer to the tied parchment paper and glaze the pan fried fish with the TamarindOH! sauce
- In the same pan, add the remaining butter, add the asparagus, salt, onion and garlic powder and gently pan sear for about 1 minute. Transfer on sides of the Fish and allow to bake in the oven uncovered for 12-15 minutes at 350F
- Serve with rice, noodles or potatoes
