How We Stay Involved
Five years ago, we were introduced to the girls at Tarkwa Breman Girls School in Guana. The school is in a remote village in the Western Region of Ghana in Tarkwa Breman (about 8 hours from the capital of Accra.)
The girls attend the school tuition free and are also provided with food, uniforms, and books.
For the last 5 years, EssieSpice has donated a percentage of sales each year to support the education of these girls and Essie Bartels herself has a personal relationship with the initial batch of students that started with the school.
